I don´t see a practical place for online translators in the classroom with the already at hand online dictionaries, thesaurus, online resources etc.
Online translators just translate a word for word literally thus it does not put the translated contents into the required cultural components they could be looking for.
So I really don´t see where online translators would fit the language classroom.
